PinoyPride.Net is using Chatango as a medium type of Chatbox due to its flexibility and light usage of computer resources. That means it is a very simple type of chat client, where people around the world can meet online and chat. It is not the same as other chat clients that uses a lot of computer resources and may cause harmful effect to your computer if you have a slow or old computer. Both PPN and Chatango doesn't allow animated GIFs to be uploaded as your Profile Picture. Please try uploading a non-animated GIF, JPG, BMP, or PNG file instead.
There are a few possible reasons for this. First of all, you need to have the latest flash player and latest web browser to use the full functionality of PPN. If you cannot access PPN at home or at work, it is either your network at work is on firewall and does not allow you to visit other website's other than work related website. Another reason is when a PPN Staff caught you trying to hack or showing a sign of stupidity, PPN Staff has all the rights to ban your IP Address in the server level.

PPN does not allow improper netiquette such as Racism, Immaturity, Obscene language, and posting of other website's URL without permission.
We are working on addressing this. We already tried contacting our ad network advertisers to remove these types of advertisement from our ad rotation, but sad to say some are still able to slip through. For the meantime, please just refresh the page until the next ad rotation is served and the annoying audio or popup advertisement is gone. We only allow 100mb video size for any standard video formats, this is to ensure that users will not be uploading copyrighted or obscene materials. For HD video formats we are allowing up to 300mb file size per video.
This is not PPN's fault. This is completely on your computer or internet's upload speed. Please remember that download speed is different with upload speed. For example: Comcast High Speed Internet has a 3mbps download speed and 768kbps upload speed.
Upload a file means you will literally be sending your video to one of our servers and have it hosted there. Embed is when you copy/paste a code that you get from other website's like YouTube.com and the real video is hosted in that website.
This occurs when you have too many browsers opened and browsing multiple heavy file transfer website like video website while uploading a video. The most common reason for this is that you are over using your computer resources and scripts are conflicting.
Please make sure you are using the latest version of Internet Explorer, FireFox, Google Chrome, or Safari web browsers. PPN no longer support old versions of web browsers. Also check the type of video format you are trying to upload.
Channels are the different category or genres your video belong to. This is to simplify the order of multiple videos and will also help users how or where to watch different videos.
This means that your video is still in the process of conversion into a format that can be easily streamed online. This is the very important part on uploading a video, if this part fails your video will not be available or will not be live.
If you trying to watch an HD video and the quality is bad, the primary reason for this that our servers were not able to recognize that the video is on HD format. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please try to message the video owner or uploader to re-upload the video again.
The first possible reason is that we are currently doing maintenance. Second possible reason is that you are not allowed to watch the video due to the owner's request. Third possible reason is that there is a network lag from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to our datacenter.
Try reinstalling Flash.
Otherwise, a Firefox plug-in or add-in may be causing this. To determine if that's the case, try running Firefox in "Safe Mode":
If you're able to watch videos in "Safe Mode," you may want to remove or disable one of your Firefox add-ons (accessible through the browser's "Tools" menu).
This is because of your internet download speed and your location is way too far from our datacenter. If you are experiencing this problem, you may want to click play and then pause, wait until the video is loaded. If the video is fully loaded or half way loaded you can click play again and watch continuous video.

This is completely not allowed in PPN and is stated in our Term of Service and Privacy Policy. Some users have been able to work around this issue by uploading a different title and a not so obvious video thumbs. If you are watching obscene or copyrighted materials, please report them immediately to abuse@pinoypride.net and include the video URL and uploader information. You may also need to include the copyrights documentation to further authenticate the issue.
We are aware of the issue - but its taking longer than expected to resolve the matter. In the meantime, we really appreciate your patience!

If the site's not allowing you to comment on a video, it may be because you're attempting to enter HTML, a URL, or special characters. Please keep in mind that PPN doesn't allow any of those within comments. It's also possible that you've been blocked from commenting on that video or that the user has set their comments to appear once they've approved them.
